Acne Scarring Treatment Products

Acne Scarring

Acne is an incredibly common skin condition, and about 95% of people aged 11 to 30 are affected by it to some extent. Any type of acne spot can lead to scarring, which most frequently occurs when too much collagen forms in a spot within the dermis. Living with acne scarring can sometimes be stressful, but we offer a range of solutions to deal with it here at AP Skincare, all backed up by our decades of knowledge and specialist expertise.

Zo Skincare - Acne Scarring Treatment Product

ZO Skincare

Our ZO skincare range is a highly effective treatment against most forms of acne scarring, as it contains especially powerful ingredients to help your skin repair and protect itself. These products are only available from clinicians like our team here at AP Skincare, as thy contain clinically therapeutic levels of botanicals, enzymes and growth factors which are not present in products available over the counter.

Dr Jo herself is a firm convert into the ZO camp and has seen the transformations it produces, including:

  • Proven reduction in fine lines and wrinkles due to improved cell renewal
  • Blending away of pigmentation, age spots and uneven skin tone
  • Healing and preventing the damage from acne and redness
  • Soothing rosacea and balancing skin colour
  • Creating skin that you can actually wear nude!

To start your ZO journey, we first need to complete a skin health consultation. To arrange an appointment simply fill in our email enquiry or call us on 01254 297 000, and we can book you into the clinic, or arrange a videocall if it’s easier.

Neoretin

For over 10 years, the Neoretin range has created noticeable reductions in skin blemishes, stains and melasma for our clients, including acne scarring.

They can blend and reduce the appearance of scars or pigmentation marks, particularly in darker skin tones, as well as post-pregnancy and sun-damaged skin. It’s a simple solution for an add-on to your current regime, with active ingredients that can create a more even colour tone for your skin.

(It’s worth noting that the reason for pigmentation is due to the overactivity of melanin in our skin. Neoretin helps control the irregular melanin activity to slow down future staining, and blends away the overpigmentation.)
